So as of the time of this post, the whole first issue/chapter is up and I'd love to know how I'm doing so far!
My number one reason for starting this comic is to learn from the experience, so any feedback I can get would be very deeply appreciated, whether it be positive or negative.

Hello, Alexis! I don't know if you'll remember me but I attended the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco and I briefly introduced myself and expressed my sincere interest in your comic because it seemed upon my impression to be a blending of the genres that I am fond of which is, science fiction and fantasy and I though I have just signed up to this forum I've only seen just a few samples of your wonderful artwork and I really want to find out more about your story!
I am very confident that you have a fascinating world that will reveal itself and the characters too! Looking forward to this. Question: the characters, are they all non-humanoid? I'll stop for now, looking forward to your response but right now I just want to see your great artwork and explore what you have available on line! I'll ask better questions next time

Hey, sorry it took me a couple days to reply to you! I most definitely remember you, thanks so much for dropping by our table, and for expressing so much interest in the comic! Really it would be an understatement to say that I appreciate it. 
There are humanoid characters, and they will start to feature more prominently as we get further in, even though they are a bit of a minority of sorts in the established world. And, slightly spoilerish statement, a small handful of them actually do appear in the first chapter, though you don't really get a look at their faces.
and for the record, I think that was a great question.
